Seedball is the original seedball company, founded in 2011 by Emily and Ana with a simple but powerful idea: to make it easy for anyone to bring wildflowers back. Created in response to the rapid decline of native wildflowers and pollinators, Seedball was designed to remove the barriers that often make growing wildflowers feel complicated or inaccessible.

Drawing on backgrounds in conservation science, Emily and Ana developed a clay-and-compost seedball method that helps seeds survive and establish where loose seed often fails. Since then, Seedball has helped introduce wildflowers into gardens, schools, balconies, window boxes, and community spaces across the UK.

At the heart of Seedball is the belief that nature recovery doesn’t require vast land or expert knowledge. Small, individual actions, when combined, can create meaningful change. By using the space we already have, Seedball encourages everyone to take part in supporting bees, butterflies, and wider wildlife.
